Innovation for Creativity in Florence at the Festval della Creatività 23-26 October

I have been trying to find a good press release on this festival but it may be a bit too time consuming to have effect. Therefore I just wanted to leave this note below for those of you dedicated members who happen to be in Florence over the next few days. (Lucky you;-))

The Festival of Creativity, Florence, with more than 350,000 visitors in 2007, achieves the goal of the third edition (23-26 October, 2008) with a rich bill of appointments. Visions, Journeys and Discoveries is the title chosen this year to describe a project which, starting with a celebration dedicated to the genius of Galileo Galilei (on the four hundredth anniversary of his celestial discoveries), intends to consolidate its format and affirm its commitment to teaching the most innovative experimentation.

Visions of the future, Journeys through time and space, Discoveries and inventions in every field of knowledge will be the key elements of an experiment that, once again, transforms the Fortezza da Basso for four days into a laboratory open to the actions, projects and contemporary languages. Artists, scientists and intellectuals, but also very young and as yet unknown inventors will be the players of a great event that will gather in a single, evocative space; the best creative ideas around: from culture to design, from communication to new media, from robotics to the performing arts.
